About me:

To me, clay has always been a visual, versatile, tactile medium with so much creative potential.

I grew up in south-east Queensland and first discovered my passion for ceramics at the Queensland College of Art in the early 1980s. There I explored the discipline of wheel-thrown pottery and the freedom of sculptural forms. After several years of making functional and decorative ware, I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Ceramics at the Queensland University of Technology.

Now, I am an independent potter and artist in the Logan area who focuses primarily on stoneware pieces. I most enjoy making pottery that people can use in their everyday lives.
